Shop nowWhich compression level is right for you?
15-20mmHg
Also referred to as over-the-counter or well-being compression, this level of pressure is ideal for those who aim for light, preventive support. If you're trying compression for the first time, going for a run, or planning for travel, this is a good place to start.
20-30mmHg
This level of medical-grade compression is for anyone who's experienced some leg discomfort, mild venous insufficiency, or may be at risk of experiencing symptoms of poor circulation. If you work on your feet all day or sit at a desk for long hours and your legs feel uncomfortable as a result, 20-30mmHg of pressure is enough to make a big difference.
30-40mmHg
Most of the time, you will know if you need this level of pressure. Either your doctor has prescribed it, or you've been wearing compression for a long time and know that you need it. Among other conditions, 30-40mmHg compression is used to treat moderate to advanced edema, CVI, or DVT.
There are many variables that factor into what level of compression you should wear. Your age, health status, and lifestyle are all part of the equation. Many people even utilize various compression levels at different times, depending on their personal needs. If you are still unsure which compression level is right for you, please chat with us or give us a call. We're here to help.
